"Who needs a newsletter, it's just the same stuff as the blog" you say? Oh, but it's not! The newsletter features NEVER BEFORE SEEN articles on the Olive Harvest, How to Get Your Visa in One Year or Less (which would have been a much more interesting and fitting title for the article than what it really is), and a Q&A section featuring the questions YOU asked!
This is so exciting, I can barely contain myself! I'm going to go read it now, you should too!

ReplyDeleteGreetings from the Upstate NY Synod Global Mission Committee! We recently heard Andrew Steele reflect on his experience as a YAGM in S. Africa. It has prompted this committee to get YOUR stories in front of our youth in NY. An article with links to the ELCA YAGM site, the YAGM Facebook page, and to your blog has been created for the Upstate Update. It won't go out for a couple of weeks, but I hope it creates a few more connections across the waters!
We also met Pastor Timothy Keyl from Connecticut at a WH and GM gathering. His companion synod is Jordan and the Holy Land and a group from his congregation is leaving Nov 2 to travel there. I hope you have a chance to meet them!
